Selibüel-Winterwanderweg
Gurnigel Berghaus–Gurnigel Berghaus
This simple circular trail begins at the famous Gurnigel mountain lodge. It explores the area along a well-groomed route, offering fantastic views of the Gantrisch Range peaks with the Nünenenflue, Gantrisch, Bürglen, and Ochse.
When the «skyscrapers» are shrouded in a deep gray fog, you know it’s time to get out into the fresh air. The Gurnigel–Selital winter hiking routes will tempt you out into the open.
The peaks of Ochse, Bürglen, Gantrisch, and Nünenenflue provide the impressive backdrop to this simple winter hike on the Selibüel. The trail begins at the Gurnigel mountain lodge. The route heads past the foot of the Selibüel steeply downward to the watershed, the pass crossing to Gurnigel. In good weather, the views here stretch as far as Lake Thun.
Heading over the watershed and down through the woods, you then go back up the mountain to your starting point, where you can enjoy a meal at the end of your hike. This easier route is particularly suitable for families who want to escape the fog for a day.
