Klangweg

The Toggenburger Klangweg (sound trail) offers a very special kind of musical treat. The panorama path starts on Alp Sellamatt and combines amazing experiences with a stunning landscape. An exciting route for curious nature lovers.
This unique tour starts on an easy path at the base of the imposing Churfirsten mountain range. Accompanied by breathtaking mountain views, visitors experiment with sound installations along the route. This stage of the Klangweg (sound trail) has sound stations with a variety of metal sounds and sound patterns.

The Klangweg (sound trail) combines an enjoyable excursion in the mountains with an extremely popular cultural project. But nature will also satisfy every wish. When you've had enough playing around at a station, you can continue on your way through shady woods dotted with isolated groups of rocks and boulders.

A little later on, the route surprises you with picturesque long-distance views over open wild-flower meadows and rolling hills with the imposing mountain chain always on the horizon. The sound sculptures naturally offer an irresistible invitation to linger. And on arrival at the Iltios summit station, many visitors leave with an unforgettable melody ringing in their ears.
