Parcours Col du Mollendruz–La Bréguettaz

Parcours Col du Mollendruz–La Bréguettaz

Starting from the Col du Mollendruz, the link between the Lake Geneva region and the Vallée de Joux, the La Bréguettaz loop is ideal for families. At the halfway point, the chalet-restaurant of the same name is a chance to take a break and refuel in a cosy, authentic setting.
From Lausanne or Morges, the Col du Mollendruz is one of the main access routes to the Vallée de Joux. Here, near the Mollendruz cross-country skiing hut, is the start of the La Bréguettaz snowshoe trail. This fairly flat trail is ideal for families and people looking for a breath of fresh air among the forests and wooded pastures.

The easy 4 km loop takes you through the Pré de Joux pastures to the Restaurant de La Bréguettaz, a mountain pasture chalet known for its family welcome and country cuisine.

The return journey follows along a large combe, typical of the Jura landscape and bordered by pine trees, before climbing in stages back to the starting point, the Col du Mollendruz.
