The Aletsch Nature Center (Pro Natura Zentrum Aletsch) acquaints its visitors through ecology-oriented programs with the beauty of the Aletsch area in all its diversity and proves that this is an area that merits preservation and protection.
The centre houses an exhibition on the topic of "Glacier Retreat - Climate Change - Energy Turnaround". In addition, there are courses with such topics as "Glacier Weekend", family holiday weeks as well as the youth camp "Nature Adventure" and the "Marmot Weekend".
There are also group excursions, which can also be booked by individual travelers to get to know the nature of the Aletsch region better. Villa Cassel also organises various festivals, such as an autumn party and many other events 2'000m above sea level. Since the renovation in 2019, the centre has been operated in a completely CO2-neutral manner.
