How about a breathtaking sledge run? The piste from Lauchernalp (1,968 meters above sea level) lasts for 6 kilometres and takes you to Wiler. You’ll need to be careful, though, as this piste is also used by skiers. Lauchernalp is known to be a particularly snowy place with a vista composed of 40 peaks including several rising over 4,000m.

You’ll make your way down into a magical valley populated by traditional villages that continue in their local customs and legends, such as that of the masked "Tschäggätta", which haunt the area during the carnival.
