Swimming pool Broc

Swimming pool Broc

The municipal outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by a large grass area and includes a paddling pool. The refreshment area offers food from June to September.
Situated in the heart of Plaine des Marches, the municipal swimming pool was built in 1962 and is very popular with locals, visitors from further afield and tourists alike.

Commissioning and maintenance of the facilities is managed by the Commune of Broc. Lifeguards, lifeguard assistants and cashiers work shifts during the season in order to keep the pool open. All the technical aspects—which are not to be underestimated for an infrastructure of this sort—are managed by the municipal water authorities. There is also an on-site refreshment area serving hot meals and a selection of snacks for pool users and other patrons.

The pool offers the following facilities: a 33-m-long swimming pool, a pool up to 1.3 m deep, a 1-m-high diving board, a paddling pool, separate male and female changing rooms with toilets and cubicles, refreshment area, children’s play area and a large grass area.

Highlights

  • Learner's pool, kiddie pool
  • Springboard 1m
  • Play area, quiet area
  • Sun loungers: meadow
  • WC, drinking water
