Astronomic observatory Mont- Soleil

Learn about the secrets of a starry sky thanks to the observatory's latest technologies.
The astronomic observatory Mont-Soleil is the latest scientific accomplishment of our region. Equipped with the most modern technology in the area of visual semi-professional astronomy, the observatory and its planetarium of 4.5 meters diameter is the ideal place to discover the secrets of our universe.

Since the summer of 2002, the astronomic observatory Mont-Soleil receives its visitors at an altitude of 1,300 meters at the heart of the Bernese Jura right above the village of Saint-Imier, situated like a balcony under the starry sky. Several public or privately organized activities are offered to the visitors.
