695 Never End Freeride
The Never End Trail in Laax is one of Switzerland's first freeride trails. It has been challenging man and his equipment since 1996.
The Never End is a natural freeride trail, which leads from Crap Sogn Gion down to Laax overcoming 1,100m difference in altitude over a distance of 7km. The top part of the trail, which is above the treeline, is stony and raw. From the treeline onwards the trail consists of soil and roots. On the bottom part, which runs across alpine pastures, the riding experience is determined by soil and stones.
The Never End trail combines northsore elements with nature. You set off from the Laax valley station (1,100m). From there you take the cablecar to the start of the freeride trail. The trail is aimed at intermediate to advanced level riders. Tires with a coarse tread and plenty of suspension travel are a great help when conquering the Never End.
