Rigi Tour
Brunnen–Brunnen
The routes on the Rigi massif rank among the most beautiful mountain bike trails in Central Switzerland. The view is practically infinite in all directions, ideal for letting your mind and spirit run free.
Although technically not difficult, this challenging tour does require good physical condition. The magnificent views are worth the effort.
After a flat stretch along Lake Lucerne, the steep climb begins from Gersau to up to Gätterlipass. Traversing Alp Egg and Gotterli, the trail leads to Timpelweid. Shortly before Urmiberg there is a brief passage where you have to push your bike. Thereafter, it is a rapid descent into the valley below, along the Muota and back to the starting point.
