Arosa–Ochsenalp
Arosa–Arosa
Easy tour – lots of fun – minimum effort. After gentle ascents through the forest you soon arrive at the Ochsenalp which is an ideal spot for pleasure-loving bikers to take a break. The route then continues along the panorama trail with a gorgeous view of the Schanfigg Valley back to Arosa.
The Ochsenalp circuit is an easy tour with a breathtaking view into the Schanfigg. And it also includes easy single tracks along nature trails and through forest areas. The tour starts by the Obersee in Arosa. The route runs alongside the lake across the Waldfestwiese and then, after a brief climb, joins the hiking trail on the right heading for the «Langwieser Aussicht».
A single track leads to the forest road which continues all the way to the Ochsenalp. Initially there is a longish and steady ascent which then leads into a stretch characterised by a succession of fun and gentle ups and downs. The restaurant at the Ochsenalp is the perfect place to take an unhurried break.
A brief, steeper passage then leads to the Rot Tritt from where you can take in the gorgeous view of the Schanfigg Valley. Then you continue at a leisurely pace by the Upper Prätschsee through beautiful countryside swarming with alpine roses and gentians towards Prätschli from where you return to Arosa at a faster pace.

Tours with an e-mountain bike
The tourism organisations had these routes registered specifically as e-mountain bike routes. Technically, they are not too difficult, no passages where the bike has to be carried, short sections where it needs to be pushed, and doable with one battery charge (max. 1000 -1200 m altitude difference).
