Flims Laax Falera

The resort of Flims, comprising the three villages of Flims, Laax and Falera, is an adventure playground for active families, bikers and outdoor enthusiasts. In addition to the offer for cross-country and free-ride specialists, Flims also offers a wide selection of mountain bike tours for families.
In the Romansh speaking cultural region of Surselva (Anterior Rhine Valley) in the canton of Grisons, the resorts of Flims, Laax and Falera are located on a sunny plateau high above the Rhine Gorge. The resort of Flims offers mountain bikers and hikers a large network of trails and hiking paths. Switzerland's 3,500 year old megalithic site and an observatory are located in Falera, allowing interesting insight into the past. And Laax attracts families in particular with its facilities for children and teenagers.

Summer

More than 330 kilometres of mountain bike routes and 250 kilometres of hiking paths lead to countless panorama points with views of the Grisons mountain landscape. Tennis, badminton, golf, as well as themed hikes, mountain meadows and bathing lakes, offer a varied holiday for the whole family. The Flims forest is one of the largest wooded areas in the Grisons – a must for nature lovers. The Ruinaulta Rhine Gorge, nicknamed the Swiss Grand Canyon, fascinates hikers and river rafters from all over the world. Lake Cauma, with its fine turquoise waters and picturesque bays, is reminiscent of a Mediterranean beach.

Winter

The ski resort of LAAX is spread over an extensive area and has slopes for all levels of difficulty. The highest point in the ski region – the Vorab glacier – reaches 3,018m. LAAX is the perfect choice for freestyle snowboarding and freeskiing. 4 snow parks, Europe's largest Halfpipe, and various freeski and snowboard events further underscore the resort's attraction.
