Kids-Pumptrack Laaxersee

The pump track by Lake Laax is integrated into a playground and appeals to children in particular.

The pump track is in a wonderful location by Lake Laax and was consciously and explicitly constructed with children in mind. The idea was to avoid attracting large numbers of experienced mountain bike riders as the pump track was intended to form part of the playground. For this reason the bends were constructed relatively low and flat to stop riders building up too much speed.

In spite of this, the pump track seems to be very popular with riders of all ages. The rambling layout and five individual and combinable loops alone tempt riders to come and play.

Length: 260m / wave and bend height: 20-40cm / surface: gravel.
