This beautiful building overlooking Lake Geneva is a listed historic monument and now a history museum. Some forty well-documented rooms portray the life in Switzerland from 1750 to 1920. Apart from special features, such as the Bréguet pendulum clock, the hail cannon and a section presenting colonial foods, visitors can discover varied topics related to the economy, education, health, tourism and emigration. The Prangins site also offers a romantic park, as well as one of the largest old-fashioned vegetable gardens in Switzerland.
