Visitors are invited to try out games and toys, children's books and teaching materials from a period covering 300 years and to go a journey of discovery. In twenty «chambers of wonder», in addition to national toys from foreign countries, there is an insight into spells, magic and shadow playing.
In the Swiss Children's Museum in Baden childhood stories are brought to life for young and old. In addition to the educational concepts of Pestalozzi, Fröbel and Montessori, you will learn about the world of humans and animals, have the opportunity to explore exciting experiment equipment in the collection of teaching aids and in the Theatre Chamber of Wonder learn about the fascinating world of puppet and paper theatre.
Go on a world of discovery through twenty rooms, spend time in the reading room, play games in the games room or conduct research at the experimental stations. In addition to the permanent exhibition there are regular special exhibitions and at weekends during the Winter months there's an attractive range of activities for children on offer.
