The renowned Grisons architect Valerio Olgiati was responsible for designing the new visitors' centre, a distinctive, monolithic building. Here you will find a permanent as well as a temporary exhibition, extensive and interactive.

In four rooms of the visitors' centre and covering an area of 680 m2, scientific facts but also sensory and mystical information are yours to experience.

For children, this centre with its explorer's trail hides a special surprise. Using an explorer booklet, you have to find your own way through the exhibition, all the while learning exciting and thrilling things about nature.
