Now begins a tour through the wonderful Bergtal valley, with intoxicating, far-reaching views over a gently rolling landscape framed by impressive mountains with snow-capped peaks. Now and then you spot picturesque farmsteads and small hamlets in the distance. You move along an easy path and involuntarily immerse yourself in the peace and tranquillity of nature.

A branch-off leads to the River Aa, which flows along a wide river bed lined by wild vegetation. Part of the stretch leads through light woodland before views again open up over the idyllic, peaceful valley The route then leads back to Engelberg. There are several attractive options for taking a break along entire route.
