An outing to the magnificent Genevan countryside through the vineyards on the right bank. From Meyrin, you pass through the villages of Bourdigny-Dessous, Choully, Peissy, Russin, Dardagny and Malval to come back to Meyrin.
This walk starts at the gates of CERN, where the World Wide Web first saw the light of day. From Bourdigny-Dessous you can enjoy a panoramic view of the canton and Mount Salève with the Jet d'Eau on the horizon. The trail crosses Satigny, Switzerland's largest winegrowing district.

After Peissy, the trail forms a loop. Head north and you walk towards Malval and Essertines, head south for Russin and La Plaine. The two routes meet at Dardagny.

Along the trail, there are two dozen information points describing grape varieties and winemaking techniques. There are many wineries along the trail where you can sample the year's vintage to your taste bud's content! And where there is wine, there are gourmet restaurants. Bon appétit!
