Lake bathing Egelsee Bubikon
The bathing facility is located on a peat lake surrounded by an idyllic nature reserve. A family-friendly playground with a pirate ship and slide, a barbecue area, fitness park and a double beach volleyball court provide for ample fun and variety.
Located in the middle of a nature reserve, Lake Egel is 300 metres long and 150 metres wide. The sunbathing lawn is divided into a number of areas, including a specific quiet area surrounded by reeds where guests can relax undisturbed by the noise of kids playing. Towards the rear of the quiet zone is a peat bath.
Adult sports enthusiasts naturally also have the option of going for a swim (a lap of the lake is around 800 metres), working out on street workout equipment in the fitness park, playing beach volley ball on the double court or also table tennis, or perhaps even attempting to master the slack line.
There are also numerous attractions for the kids: a pirate ship with slide and a ropeway in the water are sure to keep the little ones thrilled.
The kiosk/restaurant offers set daily menus as well as cold dishes, snacks and confectionery.
The baths are situated on the so-called Heart route, meaning the RZO Bade(s)pass is valid. In adverse weather the baths are closed.
