Outdoor swimming pool Sonnenberg Herisau

Outdoor swimming pool Sonnenberg Herisau

A visit to the beautiful swimming complex on the slope is certain to be rewarding – with its panoramic distant views of Alpstein, sunbathing, swimming, paddling, there is something here for everybody. The complex is close to the centre but still far enough removed from the noise and the bustle.
The swimming pool makes use of the most sophisticated technology (including chromium steel basins, pool covers to retain heat, surveillance cameras for the deep end and for monitoring the complex as a whole) – guaranteeing our visitors the highest standards of comfort and safety. Relax by swimming, or just splashing around on the surface, in our 50-metre Particular attractions are the water climbing wall and the slides just recently installed in 2016 (comprising an undulating slide and a free-fall slide), offering loads of pleasure for all ages. Other notable features of our swimming complex are the artificial stream with water jet and water mushroom, the solar-heated children’s adventure splash pool, a field for ball games, a beach volleyball court and a generously laid out children’s playground.

To cap it all, our restaurant offers culinary delights of a superlative kind. And if you want to barbecue your own sausages, our beautiful barbecue grill has everything you need.

Highlights

  • 3 lanes x 50m
  • Learners' pool, kiddie pool
  • Springboard 1m and 3m
  • Climbing wall next to swimming pool (if you fall off, you fall in the water)
  • Slide, beach volleyball court
  • Play area, quiet area
  • Barbecue points
  • Showers, WC facilities, drinking water
