Bathing complex Oberi Winterthur
Oberwinterthur is Winterthur’s biggest urban district – and since 2012 it has benefited from a new and attractive outdoor swimming pool. With its large park in a lively quarter of town, offering play, fun, relaxation and enjoyment – the ‘Badi Oberi’ is all go.
The Badi Oberi swimming complex offers an exceptionally wide and attractive variety of water fun and games to all age groups. Along with water features like fountains, water mushrooms, a diving tower and a climbing wall, the slide is the most popular attraction. Both young and old enjoy shooting down the 80-metre slide, the longest in town. The minipitch field, an artificial grass playing field with a ball retrieval system on the perimeter and a beach volleyball court are facilities that can be used at all times of year.
If you are hungry or thirsty, the pool restaurant is here to serve you. Its richly varied selection of freshly prepared summer dishes and generous assortment of salads have given it a reputation far and wide. Hot dishes are available throughout the day, and there is a reasonably priced lunch offered with daily varying menus. If you are only visiting the restaurant, admission to the complex is free.
