Former Monastery Rheinau

The monastery church of Rheinau is one of Switzerland's most important sacred buildings. The interior in particular, completed between 1710 and 1759, overwhelms church visitors with its splendor and richness.

During the foray through the area of the former monastery, however, you will come across many other architecturally and historically significant buildings - from the ancient stone barns and the monastery cellar, measuring more than 100 metres in length, to the dreamy church.
