Erlebnis Tour
Langnau–Langnau
Discover Kambly's origins and learn about where the raw ingredients for the Kambly biscuits come from. The tour takes visitors from Langnau through the rolling hills of the Emmental Valley, giving them breathtaking views over beautiful mountains and valleys, and includes a visit to the Kambly Experience.
The Experience Tour starts at the train station in Langnau, where you can also hire e-bikes. From here, the route takes visitors along back roads through Hühnerbach, then leads upwards and out of the valley to the Hüpfenboden.
At the mountain cheese dairy in Hüpfenboden, you can find out how tangy Emmental Alpine cheese is made, holes and all. Passing by the observation terrace at Restaurant Blapbach, you will reach the organic farm from which Kambly sources the milk to produce the fresh butter used in its biscuits. Here, at a height of 1100 metres above sea level, you can take in the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. On the left you will see the Napf peak, and on the right the Hohgant mountain, the impressive Schrattenfluh mountain, and the Bernese Alps.
After a swift descent through the Chrümpelgraben, you can recharge your batteries in Trubschachen. Biscuit delicacies and a relaxing coffee await you at the Kambly Experience. In the village, you will discover where Kambly sources its flour and butter. The journey back to Langnau leads you past the field where the spelt is grown for Kambly's «Sablé UrDinkel» biscuit and then takes you all the way up to Gohl. On the way back to Langnau station, you can once again enjoy the view over the unique rolling hills of the Emmental Valley.
