This trail from Mauborget to the old parade ground in Les Rochats is a great way to recharge your batteries as you ski across snow-covered pastures reminiscent of the Great North. In this completely unspoilt natural setting, it’s not unusual to come across deer along the way.
For regular skiers, this trail with its ambiance of the Great North creates a unique sensation of well-being. Ideal for an energetic and reinvigorating outing, with the chance to rest and refuel in one of the mountain pasture chalets typical of the region.
In Les Rochats, at the halfway point, skiers pass by an old Swiss army parade ground with its famous tank training track, set against a stunning winter landscape and remarkably unspoilt natural environment.
Return though the forest towards «La Combaz» and «La Caravane» to Mauborget, a village famed for its views of the sea of fog and the Alps. All along the route, skiers may chance upon some of the many deer populating this region.
